Floor plans is one of the biggest aspects when building a new home but so often people select their builder on the plan range as opposed to the person building that plan – this is not the way it should be.

When building a new home 9 times out of 10 it is being built for the owner to live in so if you had the option of picking a plan that was close enough to what you want or exactly what you want which would you choose?

Any good builder will sit down with you and custom design your home according to your needs, lifestyle and budget and when your making one of the biggest investments in your life that’s how it should be, made exactly for you! 

Research is golden, you should look around online and visit display homes to get a sense of exactly what you want but when it comes down to picking a builder you should pick them on their merits, quality, inclusions and honestly not just because they have a big plan range. Anyone can have a range of plans on paper but it takes a great builder to actually build a home to the highest stands of quality and finishes with the owner and their needs in mind.

Be wise when selecting a builder, do your home work, ask lots of questions, speak to past clients, look through their recently completed projects and trust your gut!
